
John Whitaker (GBR) & Argento won the €25,000 Ivy Stakes yesterday at Olympia – The London International Horse Show CSI 5*-W in England. The Brit and the 15-year-old bay Anglo-European stallion (Arko III x Gasper) were back in the winner’s circle again after leaving all the poles up throughout their two runs, clinching the title with with a jump-off time of 33.17 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Ben Maher (GBR) & Madame X (Continio x Corland) after a double clear, crossing the finish line in 34.14 seconds during the tiebreaker. Laura Renwick (GBR) & MHS Washington (Obos Quality x Cavalier Royale) completed the all-British trifecta when they registered their second penalty-free in 35.39 seconds.
