Verona, Italy – November 08, 2026 – In this morning’s €28,200 Banca Passadore Prize CSI 5*-W , after warming up his engines in the Prix Presented by Crivelli with a fifth-place finish on Saturday, Dutchman Bas Moerings (NED) stepped up a gear and, riding Kivinia, took over the category in two phases, with fances over 1.5-metre hight.

“My mare is fantastic, she’s very cooperative. Today she jumped really well. The first phase of the course was quite demanding, and the lines required attention. But Kivinia, a mare we bred at home, is truly special: sharp and sensitive, she loves her job, and she proved it again today .”
Clear and very fast, Moerings brought Kivinia (a granddaughter of ‘the’ Havinia that brought so much prestige to Italy on the international stage under the saddle of Gianni Govoni) to the top of the standings right from the start of the category which lined up forty starters at the start.

After him, Henrick von Eckermann (SWE) on Iliana tried with his usual determination and with a no penalties in both sections of the two-phase challenge, registering 22.16 seconds to claim second place on the podium.

Emilie Conter (BEL) with Ocean Quality, twelfth to start and therefore with very few stopwatch comparisons available, signed a beautiful course in 22.82, a time that rightfully placed her on the third step of the podium.
