Valencia, Spain – November 01, 2026 – Mark Edwards (GBR) and Tinkers Touch claimed victory in the €56,800 Grand Prix of Valencia CSI 3*, the feature competition of the Moura Tours – Autumn Tour in Valencia, Spain. The British rider delivered an outstanding performance aboard the 2017 bay Anglo-European Sport Horse gelding, by Tornesch 1042 out of a Tinkas Boy mare, to secure the top spot in a competitive 1.50m contest. Out of the 47 combinations that took on the first-round course, only eight produced clean rounds to qualify for the jump-off.

In the end, it was Edwards and Tinkers Touch who rose to the occasion when it mattered most, producing another faultless performance in the tiebreaker and stopping the clock in 41.27 seconds. Their double-clear effort proved unbeatable, securing the Grand Prix title and the biggest share of the €56,800 prize money. The British combination demonstrated both precision and speed to take the win in a competitive field.
Spain’s Mariano Martinez Bastida (ESP) secured the runner-up position with Bacardi O, also delivering two clear rounds and crossing the finish line in 44.50 seconds. Fellow Briton John Whitaker (GBR) completed the podium aboard Equine America Unick du Francport, likewise finishing on a double-clear score, with a jump-off time of 43.32 seconds. It was a strong international podium in Valencia, with Edwards leading the way after a decisive performance in the jump-off.
