Cédric Hurel & Fantasio Floreval Z Win All-French Duel for the Range Rover Grand Prix CSI 2*

Lyon, France – October 31, 2026 – Two-star competition reached an all-time high last Saturday at the 2026 Longines Equita Lyon CSI 5*-W & CSI 2* with the running of the €30,000 Range Rover Grand Prix CSI 2*. In the end, the battle for the victory came down to the two most consistent combinations, to the delight of the home crowd, both of them representing France. It all came down to the duel between Cédric Hurel (FRA) on Fantasio Floreval and Stéphanie Hennequin (FRA) with Qupido A Van De Nachtegaele. In fact, they had gone head-to-head throughout the week and for wins and top-two finishes and that was the case once again. This time, Hurel (FRA) prevailed aboard the 16-year-old bay Zangersheide gelding (Florian de La Vie x Clinton), edging them by just over five-tenths of a second.
