Cairo, Egypt – October 24, 2026 – Maximilian Weishaupt (GER) and Cosmo von Imhoff delivered a winning performance at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cairo CSI 5*, claiming the €30,000 Maridrive Prize CSI 5* on Saturday over 1.45m at the iconic Pyramids of Giza. The German rider partnered with the 10-year-old grey Oldenburger mare to a foot-perfect round, stopping the clock at 61.23 seconds to secure the top spot in a competitive international field.

**Maximilian Weishaupt** (GER) & **Cosmo von Imhoff**

Bred from the influential sire Cornet Obolensky out of a Chepetto dam, Cosmo von Imhoff showcased her quality and composure on the international stage, helping Weishaupt secure a valuable victory at one of the sport’s most spectacular venues. With the Pyramids of Giza providing a historic setting, the 1.45m speed challenge offered a compelling display of precision and speed, with three faultless combinations rounding out the podium in a memorable CSI 5* contest.

**Jennifer Hochstaedter** (LIE) & **Winnetou de La Hamente Z**

Finishing second, Jennifer Hochstaedter (LIE) and Winnetou de La Hamente Z also produced a clean round, crossing the finish line in 63.67 seconds. The Liechtenstein rider came within 2.44 seconds of the winning time, but had to settle for runner-up honours as Weishaupt and Cosmo von Imhoff set the pace in the CSI 5* class.

Bertram Allen (IRL) completed the podium with Huricane de Champloue, left all the poles up too before crossing the wire in 69.10 seconds to take third place.
