Oliva Nova, Spain – October 03, 2026 – Donald Whitaker (GBR) and Royal Red van het Lindehof claimed victory in the €28,000 CHG – Construcciones Hispano Germanas Trophy CSI 2* at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour – Fall Series, held at Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova. Whitaker’s winning partner is a 2017 chestnut Belgian Warmblood stallion, son of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve out of Kannan GFE mare. The pair kept all the poles intact in both rounds, combining accuracy and speed to finish comfortably ahead of the rest of the field in the €28,000 feature class of the day there.

Fellow British rider Sally Goding (GBR) finished second with Red Head after also jumping double clear, stopping the clock in 41.51 seconds.

Ireland’s Richard Howley (IRL) completed the podium with HK Stakkata, likewise faultless across both rounds in 41.75 seconds. With all three podium finishers producing two clear rounds, the result was ultimately decided by the jump-off pace, with Whitaker and Royal Red van het Lindehof proving the quickest combination on the day.
