Denis Lynch & Brooklyn Heights Deliver Only Double Clear to Win the Audi Prize CSI 5*

Wolvertem, Belgium – August 29, 2026 – Saturday evening at the Brussels Stephex Masters CSI 5*, CSI 3* & CSI 2* brought another exciting five-star showdown to the Grand Place Arena. Forty-two combinations lined up for the Audi Prize CSI 5* – 1.50m but after a demanding first round, only four secured their place in the jump-off.

Four Return, Only One Stays Clear

Among them was Ireland’s Denis Lynch (IRL) with the experienced gelding Brooklyn Heights. The pair had already produced a faultless opening round and, with the pressure on in the jump-off, delivered the one performance nobody else could match: a second clear round.

Lynch stopped the clock in 39.32 seconds, but victory was far from certain on time alone. France’s Simon Delestre (FRA) and Golden Boy DK were significantly faster in 36.93 seconds, but one fence down saw them finish on four faults and ultimately take second place.

Lillie Keenan (USA) followed a similar path aboard Highway TN, crossing the finish in 37.48 seconds with four faults to claim third. Great Britain’s Ben Maher and Ginger-Blue completed the jump-off. Eight faults in 39.47 seconds
placed them fourth.

With three challengers unable to repeat their first-round clears, Lynch and Brooklyn Heights‘ composed second round proved decisive. As the only combination to leave every fence standing across both rounds, they secured Saturday night’s CSI5* victory in Brussels.

Final Results – €70,000 Audi Prize CSI 5*

1) Denis Lynch (IRL) & Brooklyn Heights – 0 / 0 – 39.32

2) Simon Delestre (FRA) & Golden Boy DK – 0 / 4 – 36.93
