Henrik von Eckermann & Glamour Girl Steal the Spotlight at Dinard

Dinard, France – July 30, 2026 – Swedish rider Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), partnered with Glamour Girl, claimed victory late this afternoon in the €28,200 Les Estivales de l’Équitation CSI 5*, the feature class of Thursday, 30 July, and the opening highlight of the CSI5* at the Jumping International de Dinard CSI 5* & CSI 3*. With an exceptionally strong field assembled this week, the next three days of competition promise world-class sport and spectacular competition. The week will culminate on Sunday afternoon with the Rolex Grand Prix de la Ville de Dinard the show’s marquee event.

The suspense lasted right to the very end in the opening CSI 5* class, the Les Estivales de l’Équitation Prize, a 1.45m Two-Phase Speed competition.

Victor Bettendorf (LUX) & Extasia Bella By Classic Z

Designed by French course designer Jean-François Morand (FRA), the track challenged a field of 72 horse-and-rider combinations, with 24 producing faultless rounds. Starting 48th, Luxembourg’s Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Extasia Bella By Classic Z held the lead for much of the class with a time of 33.28 seconds.

“Dinard has always been a lucky show for us, explains today’s winner. Glamour Girl seems to love this venue, as she wins a class here every year! Starting near the end of today’s class was definitely an advantage, and she made the most of it. She’s 15 years old now, but she still walks into the ring with the enthusiasm of a five-year-old. With this win, she has now reached 52 career victories, which is simply incredible. Having her owner here this week makes it even more special, so I’m really happy. Tomorrow she’ll jump the 1.45m class. She’s naturally very fast, which allows me to save my other horse, Qasirah, for the week’s major competitions: the Prix Marc & Co and Sunday’s Grand Prix.”
