Cormac Hanley & Santiago VH Netehof Supreme in the Budweiser Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2*

Ocala, United States – July 02, 2026 – Irish rider Cormac Hanley (IRL) claimed top honors in the $32,000 Budweiser Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* during the fourth week of the WEC Ocala Summer Series at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) – Ocala. The 1.45 jump-off challenge was contested by 26 combinations with 8 of them advancing to the tiebreaker. In the end, all of them duplicated the feat and final placings were decided according to their final time.

Cormac Hanley (IRL) & Santiago VH Netehof

Hanley delivered the fastest fault-free jump-off aboard Santiago vh Netehof, an impressive 8-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding by Untouchable 27 out of a Diamant de Semilly mare. The pair stopped the clock in 39.76 seconds after producing two flawless rounds, securing victory with a confident and efficient performance that highlighted the young gelding’s speed, scope, and developing experience at the international level.

Chloe Reid (USA) & Souper Ladykiller

American rider Chloe Reid (USA) finished second with Souper Ladykiller, also posting double-clear rounds before crossing the finish line in 40.77 seconds.

Chloe Reid (USA) & Dragonball

Reid struck twice, this time aboard Dragonball, adding another fault-free effort in 41.13 seconds to complete an outstanding performance and secure third place, giving her two spots on the podium.

The results built the climax to the weekend’s international competition at WEC – Ocala, with Hanley and Santiago vh Netehof demonstrating the form needed to edge out a strong field. Their victory in the qualifier adds another notable result to the promising partnership and provides valuable momentum heading into the weekend’s feature classes.
