CSI 2*

It’s a One-Two for Erynn Ballard in the $32,000 GGT Footing Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2*

Ocala – June 26, 2026 – The fourth week of the WEC Ocala Summer Series continued on June 26 at the World Equestrian Center – Ocala with the $32,000 GGT Footing Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2*, where riders faced a demanding track designed by Ireland’s Alan Wade. Set at 1.45 meters, the course tested precision, scope, and speed, ultimately producing a competitive jump-off featuring several of the day’s fastest combinations.

Alan Wade’s technical course rewarded riders who balanced accuracy with forward riding, while the jump-off encouraged competitors to take calculated risks without sacrificing carefulness. The quality of the field and the level of competition reflected the international standard expected throughout the CSI 2* division at WEC Ocala.

Erynn Ballard (CAN) & Greta de la Dinais

Canada’s Erynn Ballard (CAN) delivered a standout performance by claiming both first and second place in the class. Riding Greta de la Dinais, Ballard produced two faultless rounds before stopping the clock in a winning time of 32.46 seconds.

She then returned aboard Ginger Ask to secure the runner-up position, once again leaving every rail in place while crossing the finish in 33.27 seconds.

Greta de la Dinais, a talented 10-year-old Selle Français mare, once again demonstrated why she has become one of the sport’s most respected competitors. Sired by Eldorado de Hus and out of an Oberon du Moulin mare, the bay combined careful jumping with exceptional speed to give Ballard the decisive edge in the jump-off.

Lexi Ferder (USA) & Karienh2

American rider Lexi Ferder completed the podium aboard Karienh2, producing another double-clear effort in 34.08 seconds. Although just over a second behind the winning pace, the pair delivered a polished and efficient performance to finish third in a highly competitive field.

With another impressive international victory added to her résumé, Ballard heads into the remainder of the WEC Ocala Summer Series with strong momentum. Greta de la Dinais’ outstanding performance further reinforced the mare’s reputation as a top-level show jumper, while the results of the qualifier set the stage for another exciting weekend of competition at the World Equestrian Center – Ocala.
