Flying Frenchman Julien Épaillard is Just Too Fast to Be Caught at Aachen

Aachen, Germany – May 23, 2026 – Two stars who clearly feel very much at home at the Aachen Soers are Julien Epaillard (FRA) and his twelve-year-old gelding, Easy Up de Grandry.

Having already claimed the victory in the Soers Prize CSI 5* on opening day, they once again proved to be the ones to beat in today’s €25,000 CHIO Aachen Campus Prize CSI 5*. With a round at breakneck speed, the Frenchman left his competitors trailing behind him by more than five seconds.

Daniel Bluman (ISR) & Malina

Second place went to Daniel Bluman (ISR), riding for Israel, aboard his nine-year-old grey mare, Malina (0/74.95).

Sophie Hinners (GER) & Iron Dames Kaleni Jo

Germany’s Sophie Hinners (GER) rounded off the podium in third place with Iron Dames Kaleni Jo (0/75.43).
