
North Salem, New York – May 08, 2026 – A fantastic Friday with fine weather and full of competition marked the third day of the first week of competition at the 2026 Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Show. Early in the day, 26 entries representing eight nations contested Wade’s 15-effort track in the $25,000 Old Salem Farm Jumper Classic – 1.45m, with Ireland’s Jordan Coyle (IRL) galloping to victory aboard Ballyv Blake.

As the last pair to return for the jump-off, he and Falkirk Farm LLC’s 8-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding brought the class down to the wire, stopping the clock in 29.903 seconds.

Samuel Hutton (GBR) and Mark Bluman (COL) also returned to the podium in the International Arena. Hutton finished second in 30.413 seconds with Etincelle D’Ellipse, AS Farms USA’s 12-year-old Selle Français mare.

Bluman took third for his 30.585-second time aboard Genial de B’Neville, Luja LLC’s 8-year-old Selle Français stallion.
The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows, one of the premier stops on the nation’s hunter-jumper horse show circuit, offers a full schedule of USEF and FEI events, May 5-10 and May 12-17. The Spring Horse Shows host competitions for riders of all levels and ages, ranging from young children on ponies to Olympic veterans, such as local hero McLain Ward (USA), Daniel Bluman (ISR), Nayel Nassar (EGY) and Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA), aboard their grand prix mounts. Week 1 (May 5-10) is USEF ‘National-6’ rated for hunters and jumpers and designated FEI CSI3*; Week 2 (May 12-17) is USEF ‘Premier-6’ rated and designated FEI CSI4*.
