Shanghai, China – May 01, 2026 – Before going on to win Saturday’s feature class, €105,500 LGCT Jump-off Challenge CSI 5* at the 2026 Longines Global Champions Tour of Shanghai CSI 5*, Gilles Thomas (BEL) and Chuck Marienshof Z gave equestrian fans a glimpse of their greatness, topping the €57,000 GCL Individual Competition CSI 5*.

The Belgian blazed through the course aboard the 11-year-old grey Zangersheide gelding (Colestus x Emerald), mastering the course in 62.96 for first place honors.

**Kendra Claricia Brinkop** (GER) & **Replay van’T Paradijs**

Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) was the closest one, guiding Replay van’T Paradijs towards silver honors in 64.18 seconds.

**Eduardo Álvarez Aznar** (ESP) & **Qevita vd Bisschop**

Eduardo Álvarez Aznar (ESP) and Qevita vd Bisschop posted the third fastest clean round of the 1.60m challenge, thus earning bronze honors in 64.43 seconds.
