
Mexico City, Mexico โ April 17, 2026 โ On Friday, April 17, 2026, the second day of CSI 5* competition at theย Longines Global Champions Tour, presented by GNP Mexico Jumping, took place. The iconic Campo Marte set the stage for an action-packed day, where the Mexican crowd enjoyed world-class international show jumping.

Throughout the day, four high-level classes were held, with victories shared among riders from Belgium, Brazil, Italy, and the United States, as well as a standout Mexican female rider. Brazilโs Eduardo Menezes (BRA) once again stood out by winning the โฌ56,800 Banorte Trophy CSI 5*, the first CSI 5* class of the day, which featured 23 riders.

Riding H5 Londontime, Menezes secured the win aboard the 10-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Hummertime x Numero Uno), registering no penalties in 73.64 seconds.

Mexicoโs Eugenio Garza (MEX) finished second with Contago, matching the winner’s clean scorecard but in 74 seconds flat.

Third place went to Canadaโs Erynn Ballard (CAN) aboard De Flor 111 Z Santa Rosa, leaving all the poles up before crossing the finish line 9n 75.02 seconds.
