In a jump-off of five, Williams and BH Gringos Legacy clocked the winning time of 40.88 seconds. โ€œTo beat the ones in front of meย โ€“ย andย hopeย the one behind me didย notย beat me,โ€ Guy joked about his winning strategy. โ€œSheโ€™sย a fast mare,โ€ he continued. โ€œShe won the first dayโ€™s classย hereย as well.ย Sheโ€™sย ever so quick and I thought that if I could leave theย fencesย up, weย wouldnโ€™tย be far away from the win.โ€

Guy Williams (GBR) & BH Gringos Legacy

โ€œLastย year, she jumped the Hamburgย Derby andย some four-ย and three-star Grand Prix and she won some rankingย classes,โ€ Guy explained about his winning mount. โ€œI sold her toย Timย Gredley,ย for Polly to ride.ย Sheโ€™sย still Pollyย Gredleyโ€™sย horse, even thoughย I got her back.ย Sheโ€™sย been reallyย good; sheย doesnโ€™tย stop winning.โ€
ย
โ€œTheย facilitiesย are lovely, and the people look after you,โ€ Guy said about the venue in Oliva Nova. โ€œEveryone isย really niceย andย friendly,ย itโ€™sย aย lovely place,ย very welcoming.โ€
