Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 01, 2026 – Irish rider Marta Hughes-Bravo (IRL), representing the Bravo-Hughes stable led by her parents Miguel (POR) and Marion (IRL), claimed victory in the highlight class of the weekend aboard the experienced HHS Figero. It marked a third win of the day for the HHS stable, following earlier victories by Max Foley in the 6- and 7-year-old divisions with HHS Private Ryan” and “HHS Lexington”.

Twelve combinations out of a total of eighty-two starters advanced to the jump-off, where only the top five managed to produce double clear rounds. The class was held in Arena 5 (Milton) and designed by Spanish course designer Luis González Molina and his team.

Matthew Sampson (GBR), winner of Friday’s main class, finished second today riding Un Secreto Z, while fellow Irish rider Niamh McEvoy (IRL) secured third place in the Clipmyhorse.TV Trophy with MB Lorenzo R. Fourth place went to Laura Baaring (NOR) & Guppie VDL, with Georgia Tame (GB) finishing fifth aboard Lucky Chance Z. The best Spanish result came from Jorge Bidón Daurella, who placed ninth with “Cormira by P&S Z” (0/4 in 43.45s).

With this Grand Prix, the fourth week of competition at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour 2026 comes to a close. The event receives institutional support from the Junta de Andalucía — through the Regional Ministry of Tourism and Andalucía Exterior — and the Provincial Council of Cádiz. Competition resumes next Tuesday with Week 5 and a CSI4*, marking the beginning of the second phase of the ASST 2026 season.
