Doha, Qatar – February 18, 2026 – The 2026 СHI Al Shaqab, presented by Longines, had a great start to its 13th edition at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab with amazing sport led by a CSI 5* victory from Scott Brash (GBR), setting the high stakes sporting rhythm of the event. Brash (GBR) and Hello Jefferson topped the €106,000 Speed Challenge CSI 5* in flawless fashion, leaving all the poles up before crossing the finish line in 64.10 seconds.

The winningest rider since the beginning of the Doha Equestrian Tour (DET), Scott left all competitors in the dust. The closest other duo produce a foot-perfect perforfance were Janne Friederike Meyer Zimmermann (GER) and Iron Dames High Level in 67.19 seconds.

Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) on Charly Heart and Megane Moissonnier (FRA) with Qoup Coeur de Muze shared bronze honors, both pairs registering no penalties in 67.76 seconds.
