Abdulrahman Al Rajhi Excel in World Cup Challenge CSI 3*-W at Doha

Doha, Qatar โ€“ February 14, 2026 โ€“ Besides the the โ‚ฌ1,500,000 Grand Prix of Doha CSI 5*, another major contest kept spectators on the edge of their seat last Friday at Al Shaqab, delivering the perfect prelude to the blockbuster challenge. Serving as the perfect prelude to the Saudi victory by Abdullah Al Sharbatly (KSA) in the Grand Prix CSI 5*, Abdulrahman Al Rajhi (KSA) got things going for Saudi Arabia, riding Lorenzo ES to victory in the โ‚ฌ96,000 World Cup of Doha CSI 3*-W.

Contested by 41 combinations in the first round, the 1.50m test run over two rounds featured ten combinations in the final round. In the end, it was Al Rajhi who pulled all the aces up his sleeve racing past the rest of the competition aboard the 2016 bay Dutch Warmblood stallion (Comme Il Faut 5 x Casall). The duo left all the poles up before crossing the finish line in 44.44 seconds.

Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) & Nikolaj de Music

Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) had another solid outing, teaming up with Nikolaj de Music towards two fault-free performances. They finished second, almost two-tenths (44.63) of a second behind the winners.

Pieter Devos (BEL) & Jarina J

Pieter Devos (BEL) and Jarina J jumped well too, earning the third position in the final standings due to their final time of 45.83 seconds.
