A Three-Peat! Scott Brash Unbeatable in the €650,000 Grand Prix of Doha CSI 5*

Doha, Qatar – January 31, 2026 – The 2026 H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix came to a fantastic end on Saturday in the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, with Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Jefferson winning the headline €650,000 Grand Prix of Doha CSI 5*. The win marked Brash’s third Grand Prix victory of the series, sealing a dominant performance across four weeks of top-level competition.

The programme was run across outdoor and indoor arenas and was built up towards the main event: the €650,000 Grand Prix of Doha CSI 5*. With a Tour 4 prize money of €1,217,000 and a total season purse of €3,303,000 across the four tours, the series finale put the Grand Prix at the centre of the day.

In the grand finale, 39 combinations, representing Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Jordan, Lebanon, Monaco, Qatar, Sweden, South Africa, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United States lined up in the first to face challenge Peter Schumacher‘s (GER) first round course.

Scott Brash (GBR) & Hello Jefferson

Run over two rounds, the 12 highes-placed combinations after the first round qualified four round too, the total score and final time would be the criteria to determined the winning couple. After having won the previous two five-star grands prix in the series, Scott Brash (GBR) was the man to be beaten and the Brit did not disappoint with Hello Jefferson, qualifying for the second round after another impecable clean round.

Nadja Peter Steiner (SUI) & Mila

He was joined by three other combinations who had no penalties: Philipp Weishaupt (GER) & Oreo. D.R, Nadja Peter Steiner (SUI) & Mila and Megane Moissonnier (FRA) & Crooner Tame. However, luck was not on the side of the German rider, who had a pole down in the second round, keeping him out of the podium.

Peter Steiner (SUI) and Mila duplicated their clean sheet from the first round, crossing the finish line in 55.51 seconds. However, that was not good enough for top honors, two other pairs were faster.

Megane Moissonnier (FRA) & Crooner Tame

Megane Moissonnier (FRA) came the closest to overcoming Scott Brash (GBR). She guided Crooner Tame brilliantly through the final course but their time of 54.90 seconds would be almost two seconds slower than the winning mark.

Scott Brash (GBR) & Hello Jefferson

Under the reins of one of the great names of the sport, Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham‘s 2009 bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Cooper van de Heffinck x Irco Mena) responded to Brash’s brilliant skills and boldness, charging to another victory.
