
Wellington, United States โ January 30, 2026 โ Great Britain was back on top on Friday at Wellington International during the fourth week of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). Besides the one-two in the $32,000 Defiant Whisky CSI 4*, also claiming top honors, fellow British rider Amanda Derbyshire won the $32,000 Griffis Residential Qualifier CSI 2* riding the 18-year-old Holsteiner gelding Cornwall BH.
The win served as a triumphant return to the competition ring for Derbyshire after giving birth to her first child at the end of last year.
It was a one-two for the ladies as Emily Dehoff (USA) guided Manou de Muze towards two foot-perfect rounds, the decisive one in 45.81 seconds.
Ibrahim Barazi (JOR) and Khan vd Kattevennen also left all the poles up for no penalties in the two rounds, securing third place due to their jump-off time of 46.26 seconds.
