
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates โ January 23, 2026 โ The Al Shiraโaa International Horse Show CSI 4* & CSI 2* reached its halfway point today, with six action-packed classes spread across both arenas, including the first qualifier for Sundayโs Grand Prix and the ever-popular Ride nโ Drive class.
As the afternoon session unfolded, attention returned to elite sport with the โฌ57,700 Diamond Tour Speed CSI 4*, presented by AMEA Power. Riders faced a demanding 1.50m track against the clock, serving as a qualifier for Sundayโs Grand Prix.
Alexander McLean (GBR) stormed to victory riding Calixte Heartbreaker Z, producing a faultless round in 68.71 seconds. The 24-year-old British rider has partnered the scopey mare to multiple victories since taking over the ride last December.
Swedenโs Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) followed in second place aboard Qasirah van de Reistenhoek while Germanyโs Christian Ahlmann (GER) rode Vivario JLZ into third.
