Basel, Switzerland – January 08, 2026 – Richard Vogel (GER) wins the first main competition of the Longines CHI Classics – Basel CSI 5*-W. The German European Champion prevails in the saddle of Phenyo van het Keysersbos, celebrating his second victory of the day after having won the Gönnerclub Pferdesport Basel Prize earlier.

Kevin Staut (FRA) with Feline de Hus HDC and Andreas Schou (DEN) with Billy Matador followed in second and third place. The best Swiss rider was Anthony Bourquard (SUI), who finished in fourth place.
