
Frankfurt, Germany – December 21, 2025 – Richard Vogel (GER) gave Germans fans what they had hoped for: A win on home soil in the €105,500 Grand Prix of Hessen CSI 4*, presented by Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG at the 2025 Internationales Festhallen Reitturnier Frankfurt.

The German piloted his rising star Cloudio against six other combinations in the tiebreaker, guiding the 11-year-old Holsteiner stallion (Casall x San Patrignano Cassini) towards the penalty-free jump-off performance in 34.09 seconds.
Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER) and Baloutarie PS put on a valiant effort too, earning reserve honors over two seconds slower than the eventual winners.
One of the most traditional nations of the noble sport, Germany lived up to expectations, in fact the host nation claimed the first five positions Felix Hassmann (GER) and Vithargos W.Z. completed the all-Germany podium, doing so with no penalties in 36.67 seconds.
