Maikel van der Vleuten is Victorious in the €30,000 Saudi Ministry of Sports Prize CSI 5*

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – October 31, 2025 – Five-star action got underway on Friday at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Riyadh CSI 5* & CSI 2* with the running of the €30,000 Ministry of Sports Prize CSI 5* and it was Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) and Dywis HH who dashed for the lion’s share of the jackpot.

The 1.45m two-phase class was contested by eighteen combinations but it was the Dutchman and the 14-year-old Holsteiner mare (Toulon x Corofino II) who came out on top, completing both sections of the course flawlessly before crossing the finish line in 24.72 seconds.

Abdullah Al Sharbatly (KSA) & Skorphults Baloutendro

Abdullah Al Sharbatly (KSA) and Skorphults Baloutendro were right on the heels of the winners, finishing second in 24.93 seconds.

Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) & Glamour Girl

Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) and Glamour Girl galloped fast too, conquering bronze honors in 25.09 seconds.
