With More than Enough Vroom! Peder Fredricson Flies to First in the Four Seasons Private Residencies Prize CSI 5*

Riesenbeck, Germany โ€“ September 12, 2025 โ€“ Sweden’s Peder Fredricson (SWE) won the first five-star level competition during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Riesenbeck CSI 5*, CSI 3* & CSI 2* on Friday afternoon.

The Swede and the 11-year-old SV Vroom de la Pomme Z (Vigo d’Arsouilles Stx x Untouchable) were victorious in the โ‚ฌ28,200 Four Seasons Private Residencies Prize CSI 5*, completing the course in a faultless 62.66 seconds, significantly faster than second-placed Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) on Coynor (Canstakko x Toulon), who crossed the timers in 64.54 seconds.

The podium was completed by France’s Simon Delestre (SWE) in the saddle of Nascar van ‘t Siamshof (Emilion Voltarie), registering no penalties in 65.31 seconds. The best German in the 1.45-meter speed class in the grass stadium at Riesenbeck International was Katrin Eckermann (GER) with Chao Lee in 12th place out of 47 starters.

โ€œI was able to watch some of the other competitors before my ride. My horse has a fairly long stride, so I was able to shorten a few distances here and there, and today that was enough to win,โ€ said Fredricson, delighted with his success.

For Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA), second place was a good start to the weekend: “Coynor is a great horse and very fast by nature. I am super happy with him and very happy to be here. Our round today has of course contributed to a positive feeling, but we will now take it day by day and step by step to see how things progress. I was really looking forward to riding here in Riesenbeck. You can really feel that horse people run this facility, because the conditions for horses and riders are simply perfect.”

The highlight tomorrow, Saturday, will be the two rounds of the Global Champions League on the grass arena in Riesenbeck. Round one begins at 11:15 a.m., and round two starts at 2:45 p.m. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday are still available. The very attractively priced strolling tickets also guarantee access and free seating in the covered grandstands.
