Julien Anquetin Pulls out All the Aces up His Sleeve in the €58,000 Agence Fences Prize CSI 4*

Deauville, France – August 15, 2025 – A fantastic Friday fell upon the Longines International Horse Center with the running of the feature class of the day. Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Fiona des Ibis stole the spotlight, flying to first in the the €58,000 Agence Fences Prize CSI 4*.

A true testament of fierce competition, the 1.50m speed challenge was contested by a whopping 94 entries, representing 19 different nations: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United States.

In the end, Anquetin pulled out all the aces up his sleeve aboard the 10-year-old chestnut Selle Français mare (Quamikase des Forets x Quidam de Revel), registering no penalties in 60.28 seconds.

To the delight of the French crowd, it was a one-two for the host nation, who secured second place with Nicola Sers (FRA) and Eleven de Riverland in 61.51 seconds.

Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Encore Toi du Linon rounded out the top three, backed by a clean performance in 62.21 seconds.
