Hickstead, England โ July 24, 2025 โ ย Jordan Coyle (IRL) clinched the win in this afternoonโs ClipMyHorse.TV Tankard CSIO 5*, scooping the lionโs share of the โฌ28,200 prize pot thanks to a speedy round from the 14-year-old For Gold.ย
The pairโs 26.64 seconds time meant that they were able to sneak the win away from Great Britainโs Robert Whitaker (GBR) and Vermento, who had held the lead throughout much of the 53-strong class. Now, Jordan will set his sights on Sundayโs Al Shiraโaa King George V Gold Cup, the feature class of the show.
Ireland bookended the podium as Cian O’Connor (IRL) guided Belvedere across the finish line in 28.11 seconds.

โHeโs an amazing horse,โ said Jordan. โHeโs just back from Spruce Meadows, and he was unbelievable there. He won seven classes at that show, and this is his first class back โ heโs feeling pretty good, Iโd say.โ
Today, he said: โI didnโt even think I was that fast โ everything just came up in our stride. Heโs naturally fast, so I never have to go chasing him anyway, but it was just one of those rounds that everything just happens for you. Those donโt happen all the time!โ
If any horse will deliver them, though, itโs For Gold. โHeโs got the most unbelievable heart,โ said Jordan. โHe wants to do it. Heโs maybe not the most talented horse in the world, but by God, he wants to do it, and he loves to win as much as me.โ
