Calgary, Canada โ July 04, 2025 โ The ATCO Cup CSI 5* closed out competitions on the International Ring for Friday of the โNorth Americanโ. The track, designed by FEI Course Designer Santiago Varela (ESP), produced five clears into the jump off.
The Irish have been fighting amongst themselves at the top of the leaderboard, and today it was Darragh Kenny (IRL) aboard Lightning, who produced the fastest clear round in the jump-off with a time of 36.95 seconds. Conor Swail (IRL) finished in second aboard Qoreen Vanโt Ruytershof, registering no penalties in 42.33 seconds.
Despite having a rail down in the tiebreaker, Sarah Lottis (CAN) and Itoulon S rounded out the top three placings due to their time of 40.25 seconds.
This year weโve heard the Irish National Anthem an astounding 16 times on the International Ring. With such a strong Irish field of riders thereโs a good chance weโll see the colours of Ireland fly again this weekend.
