Deauville, France – June 19, 2025 – This Thursday, June 19, Sotheby’s International Realty CSIO Deauville launched its fourth edition under bright sunshine, in the heart of the Pôle international du Cheval Longines. This Normandy meeting began with the Haras Normands Prize CSIO 3*, the first major event of the CSIO 3*, serving as qualifier for the Grand Prix. In this against the clock class at 1.45m, eighty-nine couples set off on a fluid and engaging course, designed by Cédric Longis (FRA), including twelve obstacles and fifteen efforts, highlighted by three doubles.

Thirty-two combinations completed the course in flawless fashion but it was Alexis Lheureux (FRA) who was the fastest, in the saddle on For Ever de Baumont. Thanks to a daring route completed in 61”01, the French rider gave his ten-year-old gray accomplice his very first victory counting towards the Longines world ranking. “My horse is really starting to mature. He is very fast on the ground, and I am very happy with our victory,” commented the winner, delighted with his first participation in Deauville and the quality of the organization.

The Swede Marcus Westergren (SWE), member of the team entered for Friday’s in Longines EEF Series Nations Cup, took second place with Airco de L’Esprit, just 21 hundredths of a second behind the winner. American Cathleen Driscoll (USA) completed the podium on Idalgo, with a time of 61”39.
