Devon, Pennsylvania, United States – May 27, 2025 – Legendary riders took to the Dixon Oval on Tuesday for the first day of Professional Hunter and FEI competition. Three Green Hunter champions were crowned, and showjumpers graced the Dixon for the debut FEI class of the 129th Devon Horse Show CSI 4*.

Under the lights of the Dixon Oval, FEI jumpers representing six different nations made their 2025 Devon Horse Show debut, vying for the first victory of the week in Tuesday’s $38,700 Jet Run Devon Welcome Stake, sponsored by Meridian Bank. Daniel Bluman (ISR) and Gemma W clocked the fastest round, finishing in 56.21 seconds to claim the win. Bluman, riding for Israel, piloted Over The Top Stables’ fourteen-year-old entry to a clear round in a star-studded field of 43 international horse and rider combinations.
“I think the atmosphere is lovely,” said Bluman. “People are very nice. You have the crowd who knows, you know, it’s like a tradition to come and be part of the whole show. And I think it’s our right, our responsibilities, as riders and professionals, to support and to come to these events. This is what really keeps the sport alive.”
