
Kessel, The Netherlands – May 18, 2025 – Saying Nina Mallevaey (FRA) is one of the rising stars of showjumping is certainly an understatement. A stellar winter season competing in the United States, highlighted by several wins and podium finishes, the young rider returned to Europe to shine again. After having won the €56,800 Grand Prix of the City of Le Touquet 3* the previous week, she added another victory to her latest list of great achievements, this time the €62,200 Stal Hendrix JPM International Grand Prix CSI 3*.
Ten of the 50 combinations who took part in the first round managed to advance to the jump-off of the 1.55m class. Mallevaey (FRA) and My Clementine were among them, mastering the course and the competition in impecable and swift manner. The 2015 chestnut Irish Sport Horse mare (O.B.O.S. Quality 004 x Kashmir van Schuttershof) propelled Nina across the finish line in 35.99 seconds for the win.
To the delight of the home crowd, Niels Kersten (NED) and Secret Treasure secured a podium finish for the host nation, earning reserve honors in 36.56 seconds.
Luke Dee (NZL) and Gangster WW left all the poles up too, rounding out the top three in 36.89 seconds.
