Roger-Yves Bost Tastes Victory in the Mon Carton de Vin Prize CSI 4*

Mâcon Chaintré, France – May 17, 2025 – It was a wonderful birthday evening offered by champions and the public on Saturday at the Jumping International de Mâcon Chaintré CSI 4*! In the CSI 4*, at the end of the afternoon, the Frenchman Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) won, the Mon Carton de Vin Prize CSI 4* – 1.50m in style. Present for the first time here in Mâcon, the Barbizonnais, multi-medalist, ignited the public by signing a fantastic jump-off in 40.21 seconds with Ballerine du Vilpion.

Of the forty-five combinations at the start, twelve qualified for the jump-off. Fanny Guerdat-Skalli (FRA) takes a good second place with Katja Loma W thanks to a perfect jump-off completed in 41.56 seconds.

**Wilm Vermeir** (BEL) & **Jonkheer van’t Veldhoven**

At the end of this breathtaking tiebreaker, the Belgian Wilm Vermeir (BEL) took third place with Jonkheer van’t Veldhoven, in 42.30 seconds.

“It’s always a great satisfaction to win a CSI 4* event! Here, the ground is so good, Ballerine felt really good and that’s for sure, I’m happy to win for the first time here, in Mâcon! In the jump-off, I was reasonable at the start then Ballerine is quite fast naturally. I think I saved time by going to the last and the penultimate! We had already won a class last week in Italy and she won this week another class, we can say that Ballerine is in good shape! The initial course was quite technical, it was a good 1.50m. It’s a good course, the course designer, Cédric Longis (FRA), did a great job!”
