Eduardo Menezes & Calypso des Matis Master the Course & Competition in the Maestro Dobel Trophy CSI 2*

Mexico City, Mexico – March 27, 2025 – The 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour of Mexico City CSI 5* & CSI 2* got off to a great start on Thursday at Campo Marte. Besides CSI 5* action earlier on, the session ended with the €28,820 Maestro Dobel Trophy CSI 2*, a competition with obstacles set at a height of 1.45 meters. A total of 53 riders participated in the 1.45m challenge, with only 9 riders completing the course without any penalty-points.

The winner of the event was Brazilian Eduardo Pereira de Menezes (BRA) and his horse Calypso des Matis, with a great time of 62.65 seconds. Second place went to Alberto Sanchez-Cozar (MEX) and his horse CBS Khantastic. The third position went to Argentina, with Rigoberto Aldana (ARG) and Candela de Olympia.
