Sarasota, Florida, United States – February 21, 2025 – Amanda Derbyshire (GBR) was the winningest rider at the the TerraNova Winter Series last year and the outstanding British rider got off to the perfect start last Friday at the TerraNova Equestrian Center. This time she teamed up with new partner J Diago for victory in the $32,000 The Estates at TerraNova Welcome Speed CSI 2*.

Riding the 11-year-old black Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) gelding (Diarado – Tara), she was supreme against 26 other combinations in the 1.45m speed challenge, completing the flawless round in 58.48 seconds. Her victory was enhanced by the fact that she also finished in third place, bookending the podium with Sade de Rialfo Z after a penalty-free peroformance in 58.76 seconds. Not content with that she also finished in fourth place with Fayuri, claiming three of the top four positions in the final standings of the class.

Mia Bagnato (USA) and Cordiamo were clean all the way to the wire too, conquering bronze honors in 59.16 seconds.
