Gothenburg, Sweden – February 20, 2025 – The 2025 Gothenburg Horse Show CSI 5*-W began on Thursday at Scandinavium Arena. Getting things started and warming up for a stellar event, the Agria Prize CSI 5*-W was won by former world number one Kevin Staut (FRA). Saving the best for last, Staut (FRA) used the advantage of observing everybody else and the Frenchman knew what he had to do with New Libero One d’Asschaut to claim the lion’s share of the €30,000 purse.

In order to do so, he bumped national equestrian hero and crowd favorite Peder Fredricson (SWE) to second place. Fredricson flew towards silver honors on Hansson WL, completing their clean round in 57.28 seconds.

Another world-class rider climbed onto the podium. Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) guided Elwikke for bronze honors, stopping the timers in 58.13 seconds.

1) Kevin Staut (FRA) & New Libero One d’Asschaut – 0 – 57.03

2) Peder Fredricson (SWE) & Hansson WL – 0 – 57.28

3) Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) & Elwikke – 0 – 58.13
