
Wellington, Florida, United States – February 16, 2025 – Canada’s Chris Pratt (CAN) brought home a win to close derby field competition during the sixth week of competition at the 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). The Canadian was supreme in the $25,000 CPKC National Grand Prix at Wellington International. He piloted Ideaal ES, owned by Take The High Road, to a fast jump-off time to take the top spot.

The Canadian and the 12-year-old bay Royal Dutch Sport Horse / Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) gelding were supreme in the tiebreaker against 5 other entries, amongst the original 22 other ones in the first round, delivering the decisive clean performance in 35.770 seconds.

Eduardo Pereira de Menezes (BRA) captured second place with H5 Kosmo ES, owned by H5 Sport Horses, being nipped at the finish line by less than two-hundredths of a second, registering the final mark of 35.794seconds.

Cathleen Driscoll (USA) added to her podium appearances on the day by taking third with Casalletto, owned by Plain Bay Farm. They completed their second penalty-free performance in 37.305 seconds.
