Vejer de la Frontera, Spain – February 13, 2025 – Belgian, Gilles Thomas (BEL) and Chuck Marienshof Z owned by Stal Marienshof, flew around the Ayuntamiento de Vejer de la Frontera Trophy CSI 4* class on Thursday as the second week of the CSI 4* here at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour.
In the main grass arena, David Broome, the Belgian and the ten-year-old grey Zangersheide gelding (Colestus x Emerald) stopped the timers in 64.31 seconds, ahead of German rider, Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER), whose mark was 64.99 seconds with MA Belle (Ugano Sitte x Bayard D’Elle). The latter two took the runner up spot, a repeat of their results last week.
These two were the only clears under 65-second mark today. British Graham Gillespie (GBR) and Veneno (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) were third, their second podium place here so far.
The riders received their prizes and trophies from the mayor of Vejer, Antonio González, and representatives from the Vejer Ayuntamiento, Manuel Jesús Melero and Francisco Javier González.
