
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – February 13, 2025 – The second day of the Emirates Jumping Cup CSIO 5* featured winners from d powerhouses of the noble sport, three different European nations. Switzerland shone in the €28,200 UAEERF Speed Stakes CSIO 5*, with a win for Bryan Balsiger (SUI) and Castiel in a precise and fast clear.
The combination stopped the clock in 66.74 seconds, just ahead of teammate Edouard Schmitz (SUI), who jumped a beautiful round in 67.00 seconds aboard Abdul-Jabbardu Gibert. Third place was claimed by Alexa Ferrer (FRA) of France, clean in 67.88 seconds on Caetlin vd Heffinck Z.
With two days of competition complete, anticipation builds for the penultimate day, kicking off at 08:30 am with the CSIJ UAEERF Junior Stakes. The morning continues with the CSICh CAVALOR Children’s Stakes and CSI2* Abu Dhabi Sports Council Classic, concluding with the Longines Grand Prix CSI 2*.
