
Wellington Florida, USA โ February 05, 2025 โ Luis Fernando Larrazabal (VEN) and Belle de Muze got off to the perfect start in the first 5* competition at the 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). The dynamic duo dashed for the cash in the $32,000 Dodd Technologies Two-Phase Challenge CSI 5* on Wednesday at Wellington International in Wellington, Florida, United States.
The 1.45m two-phase challenge was contested by 42 combinations and 28 of them managed to advance to the second section of the course. In the end, it was Larrazabal who lit up aboard the 15-year-old bay mare, conquering first place with 25.07 seconds on the timers after leaving all the poles up.

Perhaps the most consistent rider of the season so far there, Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) rode Derby de Riverland to second place, being just three-tenths off the winning mark.

Another rider who has had several wins top placings since late last year, Nayel Nassar (EGY) guided Donvier towards bronze honors, doing so in 25.77 seconds.
