Pieter Devos & Jarina J Jump the Highest in the €115,000 Anemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix of Amsterdam CSI 5*-W

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – January 25, 2025 – Pieter Devos (BEL) and his Jarina J were in a class of their own today and managed to keep Denis Lynch (IRL) behind them in the saddle of Vistogrand with apparent ease. The combination won the €115,000 Anemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix of Amsterdam CSI 5*-W, powered by Stoeterij Sterrehof.

Amsterdam Support
“The atmosphere was incredible today,” says Pieter Devos. “If you go in as the second-to-last and the audience supports you like that, yes, that is very special. My mare Jarina J did everything she could to achieve a good round today, and she more than succeeded. She has taken it easy in recent weeks, and this is her first 1.60m in a long time. Of course, ending this way is great. I hope that I can conclude Jumping Amsterdam in this successful way. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s World Cup.”

The RAI Turned Upside Down
Denis Lynch (IRL) was allowed to line up second with his very good jumping Vistogrand. Earlier this month he also achieved good results with a top 10 ranking in the Basel Grand Prix. Vivantas and Philipp Schulze Topphoff finished third in this highly competitive section. Tani Joosten was the best Dutch. She rode the ride of her life with Galdal Me and turned the RAI upside down.

On the Benches
Before the start of the Grand Prix there was a special moment for Ivo and Ellen Campagne, the people behind Stoeterij Sterrehof. Stoeterij Sterrehof has been a loyal partner of Jumping Amsterdam since 2012. This was the 14th and last time that the Grand Prix powered by Stoeterij Sterrehof was mentioned. A big thank you on behalf of the organization and the audience, who stood en masse on the benches, was more than deserved.
