
Doha, Qatar – January 10, 2025 –The second day of the three-day opening round of the 2025 Doha International Equestrian Tour championship continued with gripping showjumping at the Longines Indoor and Outdoor Arenas of the state-of-the-art Al Shaqab (Member Qatar Foundation) with 7 different rounds for one-star, two-star and four-star categories, in addition to a round for the Future Riders.The event features over 220 local and international riders, with a total prize-money of over 540,000 euros.
The day’s finale was the €164,800 FEI World Cup Two-Round Challenge CSI 4*-W – 1.55m and saw close contests both in the first round and the jump-off for which 9 riders qualified.

German rider Philipp Weishaupt (GER), riding the bay gelding Coby 8, emerged as the eventual winner with a flawless round and fastest time of 40.47 seconds.
Italian Roberto Previtali (ITA), riding darkbay gelding Esteban de Hus, was second clocking 41.18 seconds while Belgian Abdel Said (BEL) on bay mare Bonne Amie finished third with a time of 42.31 seconds.

The grand winners were honoured by Mr. Mohammed Jaber Al-Khayarin, Event Director of 2025 Doha International Tour.

Final Results – €164,800 FEI World Cup Qualifier over Two-Rounds CSI 4*-W – 1.55m
1) Philipp Weishaupt (GER) & Coby 8 – 0 / 0 – 40.47
2) Roberto Previtali (ITA) & Esteban de Hus – 0 / 0 – 41.18
3) Abdel Said (BEL) & Bonne Amie – 0 / 0 – 42.31
