Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – November 09, 2024 – Irish riders are always a force to be reckoned with at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour and it was no different on Saturday as Thomas Ryan (IRL) and Jezebeau BC claimed victory in the €28,500 Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 3*.

The Irishman and the 2015 bay Belgian Sport Horse gelding (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Vancouver d’Auvray) triumphed in the 1.45m against 11 other combinations, out of the original 57 other entries in the first round, doing so in flawless fashion, backed by a final time of 37.57 seconds.

Alberto Marquez Galobardes (ESP) and Aldo du Manoir (Iowa 960 x Arpege Pierreville) were the closest ones, finishing just eight-tenths off the winning mark.

Sienna Charles (GBR) and Stardust (Chacco-Blue x Con Air 7) rounded out the top three with no penalties too, crossing the finish line in 38.89 seconds.
