Verona, Italy  – November 08, 2024 – The 2024 Jumping Verona got underway on Friday at the traditional Fieracavalli and it was the host nation which got off to the perfect start. After winning the Sitip Prize CSI 5*-W earlier on with Jaja, Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) teamed up with Nikolaj de Music to claim top honors in the €30,000 Banca Passadore CSI 5*-W.

Going up against 47 other combinations in the 1.50m speed challenge on the course designed by Uliano Vezzani (ITA), Gaudiano turned on the nitro aboard the 11-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood stallion (Kannan x Nabab de Reve), completing the course in flawless fashion while blazing across the finish line in 59.95 seconds.

The closest ones to the winners were Barbara Schnieper (SUI) and Judy KM, who left all the poles up too but were over a second slower, being timed in 61.57 seconds.

Representing Belgium on a horse named Great Britain, Jérôme Guéry (BEL) galloped towards bronze honors, doing so with no penalties attributed to their scorecard and the time of 62.22 seconds.
