Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – October 20, 2024 – The first day of the week of the October Series came to an end on Sunday at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour CSI 3*. At 14:00 was class that was the highlight of the week, the €57,325 ClipMyHorse.TV Grand Prix CSI 3*.  This was a Longines Ranking class held in the grass, David Broom arena, the main arena here at Dehesa Montenmedio. 

The course was demanding and only ten riders got through to the jump off, with many falling foul of a tight time in the first round.  The winner was the very talented Irish, Michael Pender (IRL) with HHS Los Angeles. Second place was claimed by Mathieu Bourdeaud’Hui (BEL) with Oscar The Homage.

Another top Irish rider climbed onto the podium, Tom Wachman (IRL) with Obora’s Laura rode towards bronze honors. Jose Bono was the only Spanish rider in the jump off and had 4 faults on his homebred Alí Babá HT, who will be part of the Nations Cup Team.
