A foal from the CSIO 5* NC winner Cristel-M, a full sister of CSI 5* GP Winner Like a Diamond (Zanotelli), and foals sired by Ermitage Kalone, Heartbreaker and VDL Cardento, are just a few of the highlights in the annual auction of Studfarm Optimus.
New this year is the “Live Foal Guarantee” on the embryos. If no living foal is born from the embryo, the money will be refunded.
Full Sister of CSI 5* GP Winner “Like a Diamond vh Schaeck”
Like a diamond won the CSI5* GP in Paris, was 2nd in Samorin and 3rd in Rome. Her full sister, Brava Optima is being offered in the auction.
Brava Optima’s dam, Cacacha vh Schaeck, competed at the 160 level with a junior rider, as did her brother H5 just the Music (3rd GP’s CSI5* La Baule and Calgary). The 2nd dam won at the 160 level and is the sister of E-Muze YEK 160. The 3rd dam is the sister of the 160 jumpers Funky Music, Quartz-Musik and Krapuul.

Brava Optima is sired by Diamant de Semilly, the best show jumping sire according to the WBFSH ranking. Additionally, the full brother of Like Diamond, Brabo Optimus, is included in the collection.
Bruno Optimus is a son of Cristel, the Grand Prix mare who won the CSIO 5* Nations Cup of La Baule with Niels Bruynseels and secured numerous CSI5* placements with Jérôme Guéry.
Bruno Optimus is sired by Excelsior Optimus z, an emerging 4-year-old stallion with a dream pedigree. His sire is Ermitage Kalone, a two-time Olympic finalist, and his dam is Cacacha van het Schaeck, who competed herself at the 160 level and comes from an exceptionally strong damline.
Heartbreaker x Sister of Vagabond de La Pomme
Henri Optimus Z is a stunning colt by Heartbreaker out of the sister of Vagabond de la Pomme. This dam has already produced horses competing at 160, 155 and three at the 145 level. Her 6yo son, Unstoppable de la Pomme, is approved by Zangersheide.
Top riders and studs have placed their trust in this dam. Niels Bruynseels, Maurice Tebbel, Jordy van Massenhove, Vincent Lambrecht and VDL stud have each purchased a halfbrother of Henri Optimus z in recent years. Now, for the first time, a Heartbreaker is offered from this mare.
Emerald x Zayna Rizvi’s New GP Horse
Oryzon van het Schaeck is the dam of Bonaparte Optimus. Oryzon recently moved to America’s top talent Zayna Rizvi.
Oryzon’s dam also competed at the 160 level with Nicola Philippaerts. The 3rd dam of Oryzon is Walnut de Muze, the top horse of Harrie Smolders. The sire of Bonaparte Optimus is Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof.
Two-time Olympic finalist Ermitage Kalone
Ermitage Kalone is the the sire of the filly Bertha Optima.
Additionally, there are two embryos in the auction sired by this exceptional stallion out of Cacacha van het Schaeck.
As mentioned above a “Live Foal Guarantee” is given for these embryos.
VDL Cardento by Cacacha vh Schaeck
Barbara Optima is a filly by Cardento out of Cacacha vh Schaeck.
Additionally, a full brother and a full sister of Barbara are being offered as an embryo.
United Touch S dazzled the world with his spectacular victory in Geneva. He is the sire of an embryo out of Cacacha van het Schaeck (level 160).

- An embryo out of Anita du Park (150), the sister of Gregory Whatelet’s Beau Gosse du Park
- (160), and the niece of four 160 jumpers. Anita has already produced the 9-year-old
- Panamarenko Optimus (150) and the approved stallion Sirocco Optimus.
- A sister of Perla Optima, a 155 jumper ( damline of Taj Mahal and Obourg).
- A son of Jillonse DH (150). Jillonse has already produced two horses competing at 155 and 150.
- She is also the full sister of the 160 jumper Jonsounier DH. The second dam of the colt is the 160 GP mare Withney Dwerse Hagen.
All the foals are bred on the farm of Optimus, so no commission will be charged.
All foals had a vet check and were approved. The report is accessible through the website.
