Traverse City, Michigan, USA – September 18, 2024 – After an exhilarating Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Qualifier called Traverse City home for the first time last week, we are entering the grand finale of the 2024 Traverse City Horse Shows season. This final week welcomes the fan-favorite Major League Show Jumping Team Competition and will deliver some of the world’s top riders as they vie for the coveted American Gold Cup.

Traverse City Open Rider Bonus

With the season’s final week underway, the Traverse City Open Rider Bonus battle is heating up. Charlotte Jacobs (USA) leads with 63 points, followed closely by Francisco Goyaga (ESP) and Alex Granato (USA), both with 50 points, and last year’s champion, Cathleen Driscoll (USA), with 49 points.

The winner will be announced during the American Gold Cup on Sunday—every trip counts as we approach the finish!

Additional Honors

Ride Every Stride Trainers Award: Awarded during the American Gold Cup to the trainer who demonstrates outstanding horsemanship and achievement throughout the Tournament of Champions series. The winning trainer will receive a prize from Ride Every Stride.

Michael Meller Style Award: Presented to the international athlete who exemplifies exemplary riding style and sportsmanship in the FEI Jumping Division, serving as a role model for the sport.

Mason Phelps Award: Honoring an individual for their sportsmanship, dedication, and contributions to advancing the equestrian community and sport.
