
Traverse City, Michigan, USA โ July 31, 2024 โ Amanda Derbyshire (GBR) and Otto BH got off to the perfect start last Wednesday at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF). The dynamic duo dashed for the cash, the lion’s share of the $32,000 Speed Challenge CSI 2* at Flintfields Horse Park.

Riding Gochman Sport Horses’ 12-year-old bay Zangersheide stallion (Norton d’Eole x Toulon), she was supreme against a talented field of 39 other starters in the 1.45m class, claiming top honors after a penalty-free performance in 64.780 seconds.
Nikko Ritter (USA) and Aquiles del Caribe Z were the closest ones, finishing just over a second (64.780 seconds) off the winning mark, matching the clean score of the winners too.
Arturo Parada Vallejo (MEX) and Crispero T registered the third fastest fault-free performance of the contest, rounding out the top three in 66.240 seconds.
