
Dinard, France โ July 20, 2024 โ Besides the โฌ40,000 Derby de Bretagne CSI 4* another major class took the Jumping International de Dinard CSI 5* & CSI 3* by storm on Saturday as fans gathered for the feature CSI 5* class, the โฌ28,200 Paris Prize CSI 5*, American McLain Ward (USA), soon to ride for the US Olympic team at the upcoming Olympics in Paris, won with his 11-year-old Oldenburg mare, First Lady.
The dynamic duo dashed for the lion’s share of the cash prize against 28 other combinations in the 1.50m speed challenge. Ward guided the 2013 bay Oldenburg mare (Don Diarado x Lordanos) in flawless fashion through the course en route to finishing first in 70.51 seconds.

He beat Belgian Pieter Devos (BEL) and Jarina J, who completed their penalty-free performance in 71.13 seconds.

French Franรงois-Xavier Boudant (FRA) guided Ermes du Noรฉ towards bronze honors, being just three-tenths of a second slower than the latter two.
