Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA – June 30, 2024 – In a repeat win aboard a new mount, Samuel Parot (CHI) and his own Buga Z (Chester Z x Quality Touch Z), the 2010 Zangersheide gelding, were fastest on the clock in the $25,000 Buckley Fence Sunday Jumper Classic. Fresh off a Grand Prix win, Parot recorded a jump off time of 37.42 seconds on a double clear performance. As the only other rider to advance to the jump off, Julianna Empie (USA) rode Kelly Kocher’s 2012 Hanoverian mare, Chanel 479 (Check In x Rascaya) to reserve honors, marking a 38.30 second jump off. Keeping the poles up with two time faults, Aida Sanchez (DOM) obtained third aboard Hudsonbridge Tag (Andiamo x Dollar Bridge), Heather Steinman’s 2012 Dutch Warmblood gelding.
