Spruce Meadows, Calgary, Alberta — June 15, 2024 — Besides the RBC Grand Prix CSI 5*, another thrilling class provided much excitement on Saturday at Spruce Meadows. In the end, Daniel Coyle (IRL) and Farrel flew to first in Saturday’s 1.45-1.50m Apex Cup CSI 5*, presented by Brookfield Residential.
The 12-obstacle, 14-effort course, as well as the one used in the RBC Grand Prix, presented by Rolex, was designed by German course designer Olaf Petersen Jr. He beat Nayel Nassar (EGY), aboard Linguini De La Pomme, and Israel’s Daniel Bluman (ISR), on Corbie V.V., in the 24-rider one-round contest.
